I ordered the insert, only took a couple of days to receive. I have admit I was a little skeptical about. I installed the insert, no issues, insert went in super easy. Didn’t need a hammer or anything to put it in. It actually took longer getting everything ready than it did to install it. Wow, what a difference it made, doesn’t have banging feeling anymore when shifting in manual mode. Definitely would recommend.
Wasn't expecting much of a difference however it made a big difference. Driving the car feels so much more stable.

lt came pretty slow in today’s standards. The insert slid in easily and felt loose. Maybe it is tight after tightening the bolt. But how can you tell? Did not notice any difference driving the car. BTW it was a very minor tear in one of the bridges of the bushing. So i am going to have wait and see. But it sure beats the $1400.00 dealer estimate.
Easy install, price was great and can definitely tell a difference in drivability!
Product is exactly what is needed to cure this annoying repair. The install can be done without a lift, but need at least jack stands (BMW pads to fit lift points)with a good quality jack. Removal of nut from differential requires an extension bar to reach the nut. Torque from the nut side at 175 Nm is a challenge to achieve spec, but can be done. Bimmerhaus was great to deal with and very responsive. Super happy with the repair as the rear is much more connected and responsive. Very happy to avoid the $1800 repair to have the same vague rear end.
