The N20's factory turbo runs out of breath at 5,000 RPM, choking your 28i just when you need power most. These high-flow turbos eliminate that restriction with billet compressor wheels and enlarged housings that maintain boost pressure through redline.
Performance Gains
Expect 40-60 wheel horsepower over stock with supporting modifications, transforming the N20's torque curve from front-loaded to linear. Peak torque arrives 500 RPM earlier and sustains to 6,500 RPM instead of the factory cliff at 5,200. The upgraded internals handle 22-24 PSI reliably while maintaining the factory turbo's spool characteristics. Throttle response sharpens noticeably in the 3,000-5,500 RPM range where the stock unit starts gasping.
