




N55 F Chassis RVG Downpipes
Your N55's single twin-scroll turbo is suffocating behind restrictive factory catalysts and cramped OEM exhaust routing. RVG's precision-mandrel bent downpipes open up the exhaust flow your turbo desperately needs to hit higher boost targets and eliminate that sluggish mid-range response.
These aren't universal pipes bent to "close enough" — RVG engineers each curve specifically for F-chassis clearance constraints while maximizing flow velocity. Available in PWG (internal wastegate) and EWG (external wastegate) configurations to match your turbo setup perfectly.
Performance Gains
Expect immediate throttle response improvements as your N55's twin-scroll turbo spools faster with reduced backpressure. You'll hold boost longer through the rev range and see the engine pull harder past 5,000 RPM where the factory downpipe really chokes flow. Combined with a tune, these downpipes typically support an additional 15-25whp while cleaning up the torque curve significantly. The sound change is substantial — you'll finally hear your turbo working.

Installation & Supporting Mods
Moderate difficulty install requiring jack or lift access. The factory exhaust bolts will fight you — have penetrating oil ready and patience for heat-seized hardware. Professional installation recommended if you don't have lift access, as working under jackstands with exhaust components gets cramped quickly.
A tune isn't required but highly recommended to take full advantage of the improved flow. Most N55 tunes will adapt to the downpipes within a few drive cycles. Install video available on our technical resources page.
